All the best of Nepal in one week
Comfortable hotels, a great driver and guides at every stop. The sunrise at Sarangkot and the safari in Chitwan were our favourite moments.

The jeep safari was brilliant and our naturalist guide spotted animals we would never have seen. The canoe ride at sunrise was very peaceful.

Best short trek near Pokhara
Walking along the ridge above the clouds with Fishtail right in front of us was magical. Only five days, but it felt like a real Himalayan adventure.

Far fewer trekkers than in the Everest region, and the Tamang villages were so welcoming. The view from Kyanjin Ri over the glaciers is breathtaking.

Lots of stone steps, so train your legs! The rhododendron forest in bloom was spectacular in early April.

Perfect first trek with kids
We trekked with our two children aged 10 and 12. Short days, friendly lodges and an amazing sunrise from Poon Hill. Our guide was wonderful with the kids.

Thorong La was epic
Every day the landscape changed completely. Crossing Thorong La at dawn was hard work, but the views and the feeling at the top made it all worthwhile. Manang was a highlight.

Great guide, great food

Mountains on every side
Waking up at Annapurna Base Camp surrounded by giant peaks is something I will never forget. The hot springs at Jhinu Danda were the perfect reward on the way down.

Hard but so worth it
Tougher than I imagined, but our guide and porter were patient and encouraging the whole way. Bring warm layers for Gorak Shep, the nights are very cold!
